Ronald was born in Newport News, VA on January 29, 1957 and resided in Hampton, VA his entire life. After working with his father in his plumbing and HVAC business for many years, he started his own plumbing and HVAC business and ran it until retirement.
He was very talented in drawing and playing guitar. He was a jack of all trades. He had a wide range of knowledge and loved learning, studying the Bible, being outdoors, and spending time with family talking and laughing and teaching his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years Debbie Gunter, his father Joseph Gunter, his mother Mary Gunter, and his brother Joseph (Danny) Gunter.
He leaves behind his daughter Jennifer Delk (Philip), his son Greg Gunter, his nine grandchildren Elisabeth, Christian, Dallen, Nathan, Joshua, Cole, Brantley, Easton, and Asher, one great grandchild Evalynn, his sister Ginger Scull (James) and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 23rd at Menchville Baptist Church in Newport News, VA.
