Sharon R. Boyd

Sharon Renea 'Sissy' Boyd, 35, born May 17, 1977, went to heaven on January 25, 2013 to be with her Father, David Wayne Boyd, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton, and worked as a painting contractor. Sharon enjoyed having a great time with her family and friends, especially when those times would take her to places like the beach, Busch Gardens, and crabbing.

Sharon will always be remembered and loved by her companion of 12 years, Michael I. Jarvis; mother, Cheryl and husband Edward 'Eddie' Ewell; sons, Devin Boyd and Dazmen Davis; daughter, Mekenzie Boyd. Also surviving are Marvin M. Jowers 'Daddy Marv'; sister, Melissa 'Missie' Boyd; brothers, David 'Wayne' Boyd Jr., Justice 'Beaker' Boyd, Marvin 'Boo' Jowers, and Craig 'Eddie' Jowers; grandmother, Opal Moore; six nieces; six nephews; two aunts; three uncles; eight cousins; and her dog, Dink, for whom she had a special love.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, with a celebration of Sharon's life to begin at 5 pm.
