She graduated with the class of 1957 at Gar-Field High School and worked as a floral designer for many years. Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George "Don" Haynes; sons, Ronald "Ron", and Gregory Sr.; daughter, Tamara "Tammi"; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Shirley will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Va at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, Hampton, Va.
