Theresa LoGioco Ferrell

Theresa LoGioco Ferrell, 55, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018, surrounded by her family. Terri spent the majority of her life in Hampton, Virginia, before moving to Greenville, North Carolina four years ago. After attending Hampton High School, Terri was an inspiration to her three children as she went on to pursue an Associate’s Degree from Thomas Nelson Community College, before proudly achieving her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Christopher Newport University in 2004. Terri had a deep love for animals, coloring, and baking amazing desserts for her family. In her final weeks, Terri will be remembered by her loved ones for her unwavering strength and courage, fighting to the very end. She was able to share a beautiful Thanksgiving with her family, and her grandchildren will always cherish the memory of baking ginger cookies with their “Nonna”. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ronald and Betty LoGioco. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Robert Ferrell; daughter, Angel Neilson and husband, Shane; daughter, Stephanie Cole and husband, Jason Passabet; son, Justin Cole; stepsons, Bryan and Kenneth Ferrell; grandchildren, Lia and Brady Neilson; brother, Jimmy LoGioco and wife, Dianne; brother, Mike LoGioco; sister, Mary LoGioco; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins; and her fur babies, dogs, Kody and Chance; and cats, Blanca, Willow and Hunter. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park. A celebration of Theresa's life will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Peninsula SPCA.
