Thomas was born on March 29, 1956 in Harrisburg, PA to Steven Clarence Mahek Sr. and Emma Elizabeth Whitner. He enlisted in the Navy, serving as a Communications Electronics Technician. After his military service, he joined the civil service, where he met Lana Marie Price, to whom he was wed on February 14, 1990. Together they had four daughters.
Thomas is survived by his sister Betty Jane Deputy (Lewis), his partner of 34 years Lana, and his daughters, Ariana Bonnett (Mitchell), Elizabeth O’Hargan (Matthew), MacKenzie Hernandez (Edward), and Marissa. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stevie.
In remembrance, a gathering will be held on his 69th birthday, March 29, at 3 PM at the family’s home.
