Thomas was predeceased by his parents Emma and Thomas Wells Sr., his wife Joyce Wells, son Thomas Wells III (Trey), (Carmen), and Sister Donna.
Tommy was a Retired Army Vietnam veteran and Newport News police officer. He also worked for Busch Gardens and the Hampton School District.
Left to Cherish his memory are his Sons John (Teresa), Chris, and Paul (Lena), his grandchildren Ethan, Tyler, Maria, Marissa, Allen, Casey, Gavin, and Cheyenne, and three great-grandchildren, Sister Debra along with a host of many other friends and family members including his great niece Alexis.
Tommy will be deeply missed, but his love will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Dad! You were a true blessing to all of us.
The family will welcome friends on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666. A funeral service will occur at 12:00 PM, followed by an interment with military honors at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
