Virginia worked as a housekeeper for 24 years with Summers County Hospital, and she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna L. Proffit; son, Donald W. Caudell; brother, Robert Fitzpatrick; and granddaughter, Kathy Smith. She is survived by her son, Richard Caudell; daughters, Susan Bartgis (Kay) and Dorothy Smith (Robert); 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Herbie Fitzpatrick; and sisters, Neda Walker, Patricia Black, and June Lombag.
A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Columbarium.
