William E. Cash, 68, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was a native of Piney River, Virginia, and was a resident of Hampton. William was a Locomotive Inspector for the CSX Railroad and retired in 2007 after 40 years of service. He was a miniature train enthusiast and enjoyed sharing his hobby with his beloved grandchildren.
William is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Cash; son, David Cash and wife, Yvonne; daughter, Jennifer McCardell and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Brennan, Kasey, Julian, Anthony, and Angel; great-grandchild, Calleigh; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of William’s life will follow at 4:00 pm, officiated by Reverend Brent Staul.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church or Boy Scout Troop 6.
