They were real and loving and always had a kind word..when my dad died Willie B cried like he was my brother...and still took the time to comfort me...see you soon big bro... He was a great man and it was a joy to work with him back in the day.  I'm grateful for the "life lessons" he passed on to me and for the opportunity to speak with him before he passed.  he will be missed.

As a teen in the 70's, I had the pleasure to be the next door neighbor to Willie and his family when we all lived on Ivy Ave. Willie was not just a good friend but a mentor that assisted in ushering me into manhood that has had a positive impact even up to today. You will be missed Willie.

Our Deepest Condolences to a Very Dear Family.Just Last July Dear Brother Willie B  Helped us find Seats at our Regional Convention ..We took a Quick Picture of both He and His Precious Wife!We Felt Strongly ,what a Loving ,Caring,Christlike Person He Is!!It was very Plain to See Brother Wille B ,Had a Strong Relationship with Jehovah God..Just as Jesus Awaken Lazarus from Sleeping ,,,Soon He Will Awaken Our Dear Brother Willie B,,John11:11  We Sent Warmest Love to Esther,his children and,his Siblings!!

Our hearts are very heavy family for we have lost a vast and loving member our friend,brother,our love one Willie B. Our families were deeply connected since I can remember. When his group The Persuaders came out,I got married the next year and loved them ever since. It was extra special knowing he was one of them. We will miss his smile and always making you laugh. Last time I spoke to him he was talking about family. Condolences to all of the family and he will always remain in our hearts. Now rest my friend and brother until Jehovah calls. Awww R.I.P Mr. Willie we knew him as the bail bondsman @ City Hall Newport News never knew he was one of the persuaders until we saw this I Have personally had the pleasure of cooking for him many times. I send you sincere comfort in the transitioning of Willie "Bee".  I met Bee 
when taking my nephew to Yonkers CAP COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM...
He always told me "always continue to help the children!", and also while briefly 
working on a mayoral campaign in the Square!  I get soultracks online R&B NEWS
 and was greatly surprised to see a name that looked familiar and then I saw the picture and realized it was really him...did not know him for his musicical ties,
only the friendly man who looked out for the children... his and others.

Dear Sandra & Family

It was with great sadness that I've learned of your father's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and I hope that in a small way it helps you through these trying times.

There is no one in this world like Brother Holland. I'm so thankful for having the opportunity to get to know him and his beautiful family on our trip to Wallkill. I can honestly say he made that trip unforgettable! I look forward to seeing him again in a peaceful new world.

The world knew you as a Persuader but you were just Uncle B to us. We love you and will carry you in our hearts forever!

I light this candle in memory of my 1st cousin Mr. Willie B. Holland.  I remember the first time I met you was when big mama died.  I was 9 years old at the time.  I also remember Jerry and you singing together the song "Stand by Me" down at aunt Mary Etta's house.  Everytime I would hear that song it would remind me of you and Jerry. The last time I saw you was when uncle Arthur died.  When you walked in Aunt Louise's house that night you looked at Theresa and me and said "who these big eyed children belong too".  You were so funny and you kept it real. Rest my cousin...forever in my heart.  Holland love always!!!
