i love him he was the best brother in the world and i will never give him up i will always listen to what he says  and miss him with all my heart.

Alex always hugged me on my hardest days anywhere..my nephew would visit me at my jobs or church..etc. He always reminded us of Gods love for us. He was such a reward from the Lord and our beloved is now safe in Jesus arms. Thanks for loaning him to us 19 blessed years...auntie Lina Loves u infinity ❤️ ..I know this is temporary and we will be ready to be with you and Jesus when He returns.Amen.

Dear Judy, Simone, and Family,

I first met Xavier when you (Judy) brought he and Jaeven out for the Warriors Wrestling team.  From the first moment I met them, I knew that both of these boys were athletic and special. Xavier had a  light of happiness that I did not commonly see in people. He always had a smile on his face and would be personable with everyone that met him. The coaches (including myself) loved having him as a part of our family. I cannot express how heavy my heart is as I saw Xavier at peace at Liberty last week. Although, I did not get to see you and the family that day, I was comforted by the fact that you have such a strong relationship with our God and know that Xavier is at peace in the presence of him. I know Xavier's smile is beaming on everyone that have ever made his acquaintance and he will live on through all of us who have ever had the pleasure of knowing him. I will be available for anything the family may need and you all are in my heart!

My best friend for life, I love this guy to death,  he always knew how to put a smile on anyone’s face, him and his family were always like my family.

Dear Judy, Simone and Family, My memories go back further in time when my Dau Hala and I were going through many tirals in our lives and still are, but your family has really blessed me Judy. I've been away for 2.5 yrs from Liberty so you may not remember me. I remember Simone, Xavier and you Judy (from some classes) meeting up after Wed night classes or after church in the gathering area when they were quite younger. I do believe God gifted me a ride from you to my home before as well. I'm sorry I didn't get to know you guys better, but You've ALL brightened my days when I saw you together and your contagious smiles shining through your big hearts  I'll never forget. I remember earlier that day on August 16th 2021 I ran into Xavier at a gas station and we 
Greeted one another and we both asked each other how we both were doing because we haven't seen each other in a while and I remember him saying to me in a joking way
Jeff do you want to race me because at that time I was filling up my moped scooter at that time and he was filling up his motorcycle so I looked at him thinking in my mind no way I would win so I said to him "no I'm good" and then he left. I share this memory to you family and friends not knowing that this would be the last time I saw my brother in Christ and I felt that God have put this on my heart to share with his family and friends and may rest in peace my brother in Christ Xavier and I will keep the family and friends in my prayers.

Met him last year on social media last year around November. He was always a nice and genuine guy. He was funny and always was positive. I remember him and I talking about my Florida trip and how invested he seemed in it. I pray for his family that they get through this. R.I.P Xavier. You will be missed❤🕊

I met Xavier on twitter during the later months of 2020. In the short time that we've texted each other, we built many fond memories. I remember one time he asked for help with his math hw in the group chat. He and I spent 30 minutes figuring out how to solve it but we never did end up solving it. He was such a cool and funny person, I never thought he would be taken away so fast. He will be missed dearly. My condolences to his family and loved ones <3

I met Xavier a year ago online during quarantine. He was added to a groupchat I was in and he instantly clicked with everyone. We’d all spend nights talking about our interests. He’d tell us about his hobbies and how much he loved his family. Around 4 months ago I took a break from Twitter to focus on my mental health. I came back today and opened the group chat expecting to greet everyone. The first thing I saw was an article about his passing. I can’t imagine how everyone is feeling. He was the most genuine and loving person I’ve met. He lifted everyone’s spirits. Life is so cruel. I share my condolences with all of you. 

Brother Hughes and Family,

Words are so insufficient at a time such as this. However, I unite with many in extending heartfelt sympathy to you.  My interaction with you and your son at the 2019 NSU homecoming left a wonderful memory of having seen you again and you updating me on your life and introducing me to Xavier. I was very much impressed with Xavier and looking so forward to him being a future Nupe.  However, our thoughts and plans are not always what God intends.  Therefore, I have learned to treasure the encounters we have along life's journey.  Such is the case with meeting and interacting with your son.

I wish you abiding comfort as you journey through this season of bereavement.

I knew Xavier during his middle school years and he was always a bright spot in everyone's day; always smiling, always kind and always happy.   My condolences to his parents and to Simone.   

We only knew each other a few months but you got in my heart like one of my own sons. Your smile, laughter and voice I can still hear and see. Thanks for sharing your hopes and dreams with me. Xavier, you captured my heart the day you started at Casey. You were kind, sweet, funny, full of life, and full of jokes. Oh the jokes you’d pull on me!
