Adolphus Paul Bryant of Hanford, CA peacefully entered into eternity surrounded by his family on August 26, 2022, at the age of 77.
Paul was born August 16, 1945 in Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington to Adolphus Polk Bryant and Rachel Simer both of Tennessee.
While Paul served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviator Mechanic and Fire Fighter he met and married his first wife Catherine Russell in 1965 and had 2 sons, Paul David and Jeffrey Bryant. Paul was a licensed contractor and owned a landscaping business with his wife Catherine, C&P Landscaping and opened The One Stop Sprinkler Shop until sold. Paul and Catherine were married 51 years until her passing in 2016. Paul met and married Penny Alcantar in 2018.
Paul enjoyed adventures and traveling with his wife Penny, cooking, taking their dogs to the dog park and spending time with his family. He loved to bowl in a league with Penny, he always had a joke to share and treated everyone he met like family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Belle and Barbara, and his first wife, Catherine Bryant. Paul is survived by his wife Penny Bryant; sons Paul David (Christina) Bryant and Jeffrey (Veronica) Bryant; step-sons Jonathan Alcantar, Jim (Angela) McMahon; step-daughters Michelle (Mike) Wollaston, Sophia Alcantar (Derek), Sasha (Ryan) Ollis; grandchildren Aiden Bryant, Gracie Bryant, PJ Bryant, Emma McMahon, Hector Wollaston, Larry Wollaston, great-grandson Nathaniel Bryant, sister Jean Spangler of Kansas, brother Roger Bryant of Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to Valley Animal Haven of Lemoore, CA.
A private gravesite service with military honors will be held to honor Paul.
