Consuelo Maria Salazar

She left this world on July 20, 2024 at the blessed age of 92, surrounded by her loving family.

Connie (Nana) can be remembered for her faith, love of cooking, singing and caring for her children and grandchildren. She taught us how to live, love and most of all laugh. We will always cherish the beautiful memories with her, especially during the holidays.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, sister Cecilia Garcia of Stockton, CA, brother Samuel Vizcarra of San Jose, CA and Husband Manuel Salazar of Santa Paula CA. She is survived by her sons, Armand De La Cruz (Debbie), Kirk De La Cruz (Julie), Troy De La Cruz (Donna) and daughters Pamela Gomez, Yvette Paredes (Richard), their father Joe De La Cruz of Kingsburg, CA, 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, whom she loved so much. Our mom/nana was a remarkable woman who will always be loved and remembered.

A visitation for will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and a Rosary at 6:00 p. m. at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 North Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230. A celebration of life will occur Friday, August 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Koinonia Church, 12536 Hanford Armona Rd, Hanford, CA 93230.

On behalf of Connie's family, we would like to thank Brighton Nursing Home, Adventist Health and Pastors for the compassion and care they provided. We would also like to thank each and every one of you who have prayed and shared beautiful memories with our beloved mom/nana.
