Daniel Craig Dawson

Daniel passed away on June the 18th of 2023 in Hanford, California of natural causes.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Luke Dawson. He is survived by his three children William Dawson, Daniel Dawson, and Emily Dawson all of Lemoore, as well as his brothers Mark Wilson, Matthew Dawson, David Dawson, and Peter Dawson. He left behind his beloved rescue dog, Daisy, who now lives with his children.

Dan was a veteran, who joined the Navy in 1990 and after 20 plus years retired from the US Navy reserves. He spent much of his life as a long haul truck driver. Both careers gave him the opportunity to see more of the world than the average person, and many stories to tell.

For the last several years Dan worked for Ferguson Waterworks in Fresno where he was well liked and will be missed. His heart was strong, and so was his love for his family and those close to him. We all miss him dearly and are saddened that his life ended so abruptly at such a young age.

There will be a memorial service held for Dan at the People's Funeral Chapel in Hanford on July 15th at 2pm.
