Danny was raised in Campbell, California attending and graduating from Westmont High School in 1980.
It was in high school where he found his passion for machining. Danny would follow his passion and become a manual machinist, specializing in lathe and mill, for over 40 years. Danny loved his career making and prototyping parts for the US Government, SpaceX, Stryker, among many others.
Outside of his love for machining, Danny was an avid camper. Danny would travel to Granite Creek Campgrounds nearly every year with his family. He would say that Granite Creek was the most beautiful place on Earth. Granite Creek would be a place for Danny and his family to relax, play horseshoes, fish, hike, and to simply enjoy time with each other.
Throughout the campgrounds of Granite Creek you would often hear the distinct sounds of classic and hard rock, one of Danny’s other interests. Danny always had music playing, whether it was in his truck, at home in the garage, at work, or simply anywhere with a radio. Some of Danny’s favorite bands were Pink Floyd, Metallica, Boston, Dio, & Black Sabbath.
Akin to camping and rock and roll, Danny was a fervent sports fan. Danny was a passionate fan of the San Francisco Giants, Arizona Cardinals, New York Islanders and NASCAR. Danny attended hundreds of Giants games both at Candlestick Park and Pac Bell Park.
Danny is survived by his son Douglas, daughter-in-law Christy, granddaughter Eloise, father Donald Sr and his siblings Donny, Denetia, Shari, Susie, and Stefani.
Danny was a loved son, brother, uncle, father and grandfather. His time on Earth was filled with joyous memories. He will truly be missed and forever in our hearts.
