David was born to Ray and Jo Ann Hawkins on March 14, 1966 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Hanford California. He went to be with the Lord on Holy Thursday. April 24, 2019. He will be greatly missed, but will one day be together with family and friends again.
David loved the Lord and was always ready to witness to anyone who wished to share the Word with him.
David was a lifelong resident of Hanford residing for a couple of years in South Dakota. He attended local Hanford Schools and chose truck driving as his occupation throughout his adult life.
David loved to hunt and fish and to trap shoot with his Dad and Brother. His visits to the coast to ride his three wheel vehicle with family and friends was always a time he enjoyed. Playing UNO with family he always tried to hide the draw four cared under his hat. One of David’s thing was to play parts of skits with his son and daughter. David’s most favorite time of the year was Christmas. He was a great big kid again, putting up the lights around the house and always buying more every year until we had box’s full of lights.
David is survived by his Father, Ray Hawkins, Mother, Jo Ann Hawkins, Wife, Frances (Avila) Hawkins, son Justin Ray and daughter Amanda Renee Hawkins, Brother, Michael Ray Hawkins, Sister, Deborah Ann Hawkins (Bray). Grand daughter, Alexia Hawkins and Grandson, Justin Bryan Hawkins. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins who are residing in Hanford.
