He attended Hanford High School and COS. Derick's passions were skate boarding, snowboarding and music. For all those that knew Derick, they will always remember his glowing personality, great sense of humor, a kind heart and his million dollar smile. Derick will be truly missed by all and will never be forgotten.
Derick is survived by his mother Vicki Maselli, father Vince Vasquez, stepfather Chris Maselli, stepmother Virginia Vasquez, sisters Macaela Silva, Valerie Vasquez and Kendra Brown, brothers Christopher Maselli, Justin Vasquez, grandparents Don and Nellie Miller and John and Gregoria Vasquez; aunts, uncles and cousins, who will love him unconditionally for the rest of our lives.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA with a Graveside Service on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Hanford Cemetery; 10500 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.
