

Diana Lynn Ruch Noland peacefully passed away on January 22, 2025 in Visalia, California at the age of 76 years old. On September 7, 1948 Diana was born to Barney and Mary Anne Ruch in Battle Creek, Michigan. Just a few months later, their family moved back to Hanford California, where she lived most of her life.
Diana had fond memories of growing up in Hanford, especially working at Superior Dairy scooping ice cream as a teenager. Shortly after Diana & David were married in 1968, they moved to the Bay area where Diana worked as an Account Clerk for Lewis Stores. The family moved back to Hanford in 1978. Diana was a very loving & great mother. She was very involved in her children's activities, everything from Dance and Soccer to 4-H and school events. After being a stay-at-home mom for 14 years, she went to work for Security Bank and later several offices for Kings County including Welfare, Public Guardian & Veteran Services', where she retired in 2010.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting & traveling with her husband & the Kings Kampers RV club.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Barney Ruch and Mary Anne Young, her brother David Ruch and her grandson Joshua Jakubowski.
She is survived by her husband David Noland of Hanford, daughter Shelly Jakubowski and Eric of Peachtree City, GA, son Jeff Noland and Michele of Clovis, son Russell Noland & Gabriela of Fresno, her brother Steven Day and Vicki of Fresno, Grandchildren Madison, Andrew, Justin, Zolín, Jacob and Pilar as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 12:00 at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N Douty St., Hanford.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to your favorite charity in her name. A special thank you to Visalia Post Acute, who took great care of Diana for the past 5 months.
