Eddie Maurice Durst

Eddie was born to Hubert Alton & Sarah Lula (Allen) Durst on August 24, 1939 in Rochester, Texas. Eddie was one of six children born to Hubert and Sarah. Eddie proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years before retiring. He also had a second career as a Manager with Pacific Bell Phone Company for 20 years before retiring again. He truly loved to play golf every chance he could. Eddie met and married the love of his life; Anna B. Webster on June 10, 1958 at the Church of God in Laton, California where he has lived ever since with his family.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 55 years; Anna B. Durst of Laton, California. He also leaves his children; Sherry & Cecil Anderson of Laton, Debbie & Kevin Lee of Laton and Eddie & Mary Durst, Jr. of Hanford. He will always be cherished by his 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. His dear 2 brothers and 3 sisters will also miss him dearly. He will never be forgotten by his nieces and nephews who loved him lots too!

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591.
