Ella Mae Earven Stites

Ella Mae Stites, 79 of Hanford, California passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Ella was born on June 29, 1933 in Sanchez, Arizona to Sam and Catherine Earven. She married her husband, Jack Stites in Hanford on May 31, 1949. Together they raised three sons in Armona, California. Ella worked for Thrifty Drug Store for many years. In her later years, she enjoyed attending the Senior Center in Lemoore for Lunch, Bingo, and Friday Night Music.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her three sons; John Stites and his wife Linda, of Hanford, CA, Kenny Stites and his wife Brenda, of Armona, CA and Raymond Williams of Elizabethtown, KY. She will also be missed by her 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will also be remembered by her brother; Howard Earven and wife Nan of Heavener, OK and sister; Winnie Powell and husband James of Tehachapi, CA. Ella will also be missed by all of the great friends she has made through the years.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Grangeville Cemetery; 10428 14th Avenue, Armona, CA 93202 559-924-3439.
