It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our brother Frederick A. Cassidy. Fred was born September 4th 1952 in Culver City, California. On July 20th 2021 he rejoined his parents Frederick and Eleanor Cassidy in heaven.
He leaves behind two children, Fredrick “Freddy” Cassidy and Kristi Cassidy. Fred was a proud grandfather to three beautiful granddaughters along with two sisters, Cecilia Misner, Theresa Burke and three brothers; Patrick, William and Paul Cassidy, 2 wonderful nieces Ame Fogg, Andrea Burke and his great nephew.
Fred had a special bond with his great nephew. Every day when he would walk down the stairs his great nephew would greet him with, “Hi Uncle Fred” and give him big hugs. They would often watch cartoons together and play connect four. Fred enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to play cards and cheer on the San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants. Fred would often say it feels good to be home and with your passing family can feel the comfort knowing that you are finally home.
