

"Papa Lupe" was born at the Hacienda de San Gregorio, Guanajuato, Mexico on December 19, 1928. "Papa Lupe" then emigrated from Mexico at a very young age in search of a better, life for his family. Being born in a hacienda, he loved the great outdoors. He was a general farm laborer for most of his life and
retired from Paramount Farms (Now Wonderful Pistachios) in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ricardo Nieto and Francisca Lopez, several brothers and sisters, his wife of 42 years; Hilaria Nieto in 1991, his son; Heraclio Nieto in 2008 and his brother Eliodoro Nieto in 2013.
He leaves behind his beloved children; Santiago Nieto of Bakersfield, CA, Lupe Nieto of New Mexico, Gloria Perez of Avondale, AZ, Alfredo Nieto of Kettleman City, CA, Carmen De La Rosa and Brian Gosvener both of Avenal, CA and many, many grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grandkids.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. and a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. all at Mission of St. Cecilia; Milham Ave. & 8th Ave., Kettleman City, CA 93239 (559) 386-9523 with Burial following at Coalinga-Huron Cemetery; 40054 Calaveras Ave., Coalinga, CA 93210.
