James O Bass

James married Myrtle on November 5, 1949 in Hernando, MS. Together they had four children.

James will be remembered as a simple, humble man whose favorite pastime was dancing. His children fondly recall his love for the state of Tennessee, where he was raised.

James is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Myrtle; his parents, D.C. & Donnie Bass; and his sister, Louise Heflin.

Left to cherish James’ memory are his children, Ronald Bass and his wife, Debbie of Riverdale, Linda Robinson and her husband, Calvin of Riverdale, Wanda Williams of San Diego, and Mike Bass and his wife, Debbie of Hanford; sister, Linnie Cole of Hanford; seven grandsons; one granddaughter; ten great grandchildren with two on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, 19811 S. Cedar Ave, Laton, CA on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
