

Jim graduated from Hanford High School in 1964. He served in the Navy for two years in Vietnam and upon his return, two years in the reserves.
Jim worked for his uncle Joe Rogers at Midstate Welding in the early years and then went into hydraulics. He was known somewhat of an expert in the field, teaching for a year at West Hills College while working in outside sales.
Jim married Karen Bufanda Rogers in 1979. They enjoyed many years of camping and fishing together, and he was an avid hunter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Karen, daughters Kelly Moore and her sons Tyler and Chase, and Nancy Bonner and her children Roia, Hunter and Sawyer. He also leaves his brother David Rogers (Darla), niece Katie Resendez and numerous nephews, nieces and great grandchildren. He will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at People's Funeral Chapel on April 10, 2024. There will be a private burial at Three Rivers Cemetery at a later date.
