Linda Lou Roberts, 67, of Hanford, California, departed this life on Monday, May 5, 2015, in Hanford, California. She was a retired teacher.
Linda was born in Hanford, California, on July 24, 1947, to Oren and Ollie Roberts. She attended local schools and graduated from Hanford High in 1965. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Fresno State University and received her teaching credentials prior to serving as a teacher for more than thirty years.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Oren and Ollie Roberts, sister Inez Hoggard and brother Ray Roberts.
She will be remembered by three decades of students, a niece, nephews, cousins, a foster son and family and members of her local Church of Christ congregation.
Visitation and services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 4-7 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel 501 N. Douty St. Hanford, California. Burial will take place on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Hanford Cemetery 10500 S 10th Ave Hanford, California.
