Manuel N. Vierra Jr., age 78, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Manuel was born in Hanford, California to Helen Frances Kochevar and Manuel N. Vierra. He graduated from Hanford High School in 1961, attended Fresno State, and McGeorge College of Law. He loved the law and served Kings County as a judge and attorney for over 50 years.
Manuel is survived by his partner Shawn M. Poirier; his sisters Helen Ann Sullivan and Judy Vierra, Pat and Bill Negrete, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Manuel was preceded in death by his father Manuel N. Vierra and his mother Helen Frances Kochevar.
A graveside wervice for Manuel will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Kings River Cemetery, 10499 Dover Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
