

Nancy was born in Palo Alto, California in 1951 to Frances and Russell van Baren. Both her parents preceded her in death. Nancy had four brothers, Richard, Edward, Joe, and her twin Rusty, all of whom also preceded her in death.
Nancy was a devoted special education teacher whose career spanned five decades. She began her teaching career in Weed, California and later moved to Hanford where she spent the last forty years teaching. She retired just two years before her death.
Nancy loved life and was up for any challenge. She rode motorcycles and accomplished 100 mile bike rides. She loved tennis, tried roller blading and in later life pickle ball.
Nancy is survived by three sisters-in-law, seven nieces and nephews and four stepchildren. All of whom will feel her loss deeply. Nancy leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love for family and friends.
