

Ray Mitsuyoshi was born on May 25, 1926 in Armona, CA and passed away on June 18, 2015. He was a sophomore at Hanford High when he was sent to an internment camp during WWII in Jerome, AK and graduated from high school there. He served in the US Army/MIS during WWII, went to National Trade Tech in LA, and owned Peterson's Garage and Armona Auto Supply until his retirement.
He married Keiko Miyamoto in 1966 and son Greg was born in 1970. In his early years he was active in baseball and bowling and was an avid Dodgers fan. He enjoyed fishing trips to the Oregon coast, Alaska, Sierras and the Central Coast with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother Kay, and sisters Sumi, Fusako Tsutsumida and Mariko Tanita. He is survived by his son Greg (Judy) of Clovis, granddaughter Larissa, his brother Ben (Joette) of Santa Rosa, and sisters Mary Nishimine of Huntington Beach and Nancy Miya (Harry) of Hanford, and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be at People's Funeral Chapel 501 N Douty St. Hanford, CA on June 25th from 5 - 7 pm. Memorial services will be held at Hanford Buddhist Church 238 N Green St. Hanford, CA on June 27 at 10 am. Burial to be private.
