Dad,
 I find myself with this overwhelming sadness knowing that yet  another day will be one without YOU! Four years ago today has certainly been a great loss for the family! You were definitely an ANCHOR that I myself needed and admired! 

Dad, I see you everyday in my grandchildren, your great-grandchildren! I see so much of you dad in Braiden. His gentle spirit and respectful manner is definitely you dad. Angelina, Mila, and baby Jocelyn are three of the kindest and loving little girls! All four have their own unique characteristics that remind me of you dad! Your legacy will never be forgotten through their existing lives! I know that you are watching over them ! That alone gives me PEACE dad because the world today has changed immensely!

I thank GOD for giving ME the life with YOU in it! You will forever be the reason of my strength and courage to continue my everyday! Your encouraging words will never be forgotten! Your loving ways will always be a reminder of who I strive to be! I WAS SO PROUD TO HAVE YOU AS MY DAD!!

Dad,
Three years ago today you peacefully entered the gates of Heaven! You were greeted by our Heavenly Father Jesus Christ! Though I terribly miss you very much, I feel at peace knowing you are witnessing the most beautiful presence of such spectacular beauty! My peace comes with such joy and happiness knowing that you are finally free of any ailments you courageously faced! You are my HERO dad! I learned an abundance from you dad! Lessons I will hold close to my heart forever! As I continue life’s path I keep in mind every day the respectful character and dignity you possessed daily! Your spirit lives inside the hearts of my son and my four amazing grandchildren…..most especially in mine! Until we meet again dad just know my memories are many and each filled with countless meaning! I love you and miss you so very much dad! You gave my life such significance and I thank you for that!

Balancing grief is my common turmoil in this 2nd anniversary of your passing! The hole in my heart is in the shape of you; that no one could fit in but you! You may not be here on earth dad, but knowing you are in the greatest peaceful place fulfills my heart! Knowing you are in the presence of our Glorious Creator Jesus Christ! Dad you never made promises you couldn’t keep! I respected that about you! However, you were the one I could count on! Anytime or anywhere…..even for the simplest acts of kindness! Your legacy continues to live on through my memories! I would trade all my tomorrows for just one more day with you dad! I am forever indebted to you for being the true CHARACTER of a parent’s love! It’s been exactly one year today that OUR LORD JESUS called you home! I keep your STRENGTH and most of all your KINDNESS within my HEART!! A lot of things have changed within my life in this year DAD, but I pray to you that you are beside me every step of the way! You continue to guide my existence every day!! I feel the COURAGE in my blood and my soul is filled with such undeniable PRIDE having YOU as my DAD! You have been my REASON to continue my life with DIGNITY and RESPECT; just the way YOU instilled in me all throughout my life! I MISS YOU EVERY DAY DAD! I miss our talks, enjoying the songs we sang, having the support in every thing I set out to do, but especially the GRACE OF YOUR SPIRIT!! I can’t deny the tears wanting to run down my cheeks after viewing those photos of Ruben. To the entire Munoz family, Ruben was such a blessing to have known and hands down the best great “papa Ruben” to my Braiden. He will truly be missed and most definitely never ever forgotten. There are pieces of Ruben in each and every one of you I can see it throughout the years. Everyone looked up to him as a role model, father figure, etc. I remember this advice he gave me when i was younger, I think it was in regards to a job interview and I was nervous and he told me “always prepare for the worst, so if it happens it’s not as impactful but if it doesn’t that it becomes that much more rewarding”. My condolences again as this is another bump in the road to healing. Saying goodbye is never easy but it’s not always final.. until we meet again rest easy Ruben. 
Sorry I am unable to make it to the service but I will be there in spirit. 

Dad,
My heavy HEART still cries for your absence in my life.  The emptiness without you dad is devastating. However, knowing you are witnessing such a beautiful PARADISE and enjoying GOD'S beautiful bountiful BLESSINGS every day now!! You were the prime example of a GENTLEMAN! You possessed such a GENTLE CALM, GRACE, and GOODNESS! I will always remember the life lessons you instilled in me. I will always know that YOU loved me so dearly without any doubt and I know YOU knew how I loved YOU the same. You are my LEGENDARY  HERO dad ! I can't wait till I see YOU again. We will have our beautiful conversations again and sing together to our favorite songs! Love you dad ! ALWAYS and FOREVER,
