Theresa Bernadette Aguilar

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Jess and Annie Aguilar; siblings Jess John Aguilar Jr., Patricia Cordero, Sylvia Alvarez, Norma Gutierrez, Robert Aguilar, Michael Aguilar, Gilbert Aguilar, Mary Aguilar and two nephews Daniel Varela and Paul Gutierrez.

Theresa attended and graduated from Lakeside Elementary School and Hanford Union High School (East); she continued her education at College of Sequoia for several semesters. She was employed for many years as a Teacher/Yard Aide at various elementary schools with Hanford Elementary School District.

Theresa enjoyed being around family and friends; loved being outdoors in her yard and was an avid Sunday/Monday football fan. Her stubbornness, yet loving and caring personality will be missed by all who loved and knew her. When you think of Theresa, celebrate the good memories you have of her, remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

Theresa leaves many memories to her two sisters; Susan Varela (Hanford), Veronica Aguilar (Morro Bay) and a brother Ronnie Aguilar (Hanford); the relationship she had with Ronnie was like no other; she was the big sister that drove him everywhere. She leaves behind many nieces/great nieces, nephews/great nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 9am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Hanford with interment at Calvary Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and deep gratitude for all the expressions of sympathy and acts of kindness shown during this time of sorrow.
