Tular McDaniel

Tular McDaniel, 95 was born on August 31, 1918 to her parents; Alvord & Carrie McDaniel in Logansport, Louisiana. Tular went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 1, 2014 in her home with her family at her bedside in Hanford, California a week before her son; Leon Cornett who also passed on Friday, August 8, 2014 in Hanford, California.

Tular accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Howard Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Hanford. Tular settled in Hanford in 1947 where she lived for the past 67 years.

She was preceded in death by her father; Alvord McDaniel, mother; Carrie McDaniel, sister; Era Thompson, sister; Lucille McDaniel, sister; Tamon Allen, brother; Collie McDaniel and her sons; Bobby Cornett and Leon Cornett.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a son; Tommy Cornett of San Pablo, CA, a sister; Velma Howard of Hanford, CA, a dear friend; James Glass of Hanford and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and also on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Tular’s Life on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. all at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N.
