Barbara Grace Brennan Burns

Mrs. Barbara Brennan Burns, 72, entered her eternal rest at home on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Born in Boston on June 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Cimino Brennan. She was a 1955 graduate of Chelsea High School. Barbara was predeceased by her late husband in 1997, Robert R. Burns and her precious son Michael S. Riley in 2001. She was also the former wife of the late Frank Riley and William McTague. Barbara is survived by her beloved granddaughter Grace Santos with whom she made her home and who took loving care of her. She is also survived by grandsons, Derek Riley of Plymouth, Michael Riley of Brockton, Dylan Stanley of Marshfield, granddaughter Tasha Riley of FL, 4 great grandchildren, 1 daughter Maureen Riley of Marshfield, 1 sister, Helen Hudson of NC, 1 nephew, Scott Hudson of NC, a daughter in law of the Heart, Donna McMinamin of Plymouth and the many friends who were there for her all the time. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte 14 in Hanson. Interment in Central Cemetery in Halifax. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Wednesday from 5-8 PM.
