
Mr. Brian Connolly, 47 of Hanover died Sunday, October 22, 2006 in his home after an illness of several months. The son of Mary McDonald Connolly of Viera Fl and the late John J. Connolly, he was born in Boston on July 16, 1959. He was raised and educated in Hull and was the Class President of the Hull High School, class of 1978. He lived in Hull until moving to Hanover 14 years ago. Mr. Connolly was a proud member of the Laborers Union Local #133 and currently was an employee of Payton Construction in Boston. Mr. Connolly was a member of the Hanover Planning Board, the Hanover Housing Authority and a Town Meeting Participant. He was the former Sealer of Weights and Measures in Hanover and was a former member of the Hanover Government Study Committee and the Hanover School Building Needs Committee. Mr. Connolly was a former coach for Hanover Girls softball and Hingham Women's Softball League and he was a former member of the Hull Park and Recreation Commission. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Leavitt Connolly, 1 son, Brendan Sean Connolly, 1 daughter, Shannon Lee Connolly, his mother, Mary McDonald Connolly of Viera FL, 2 brothers, John ''Jack'' Connolly of Hull and Matthew Connolly of Avon, 6 sisters, Mary Frances Nagle of Viera FL, Patricia Henry of Rehoboth DE, Kathleen Connolly Ogunquit ME, Bridget Connolly of Douglasville GA, Lorraine Carlisle of Dallas GA and Susan Rudnick of Marietta GA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 10 MA in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connolly Family Fund, c/o Rockland Trust Company, 272 Columbia Road, Hanover MA 02339.
