Charles "Duke" E. DuBois, 87 of Hanover, passed away on November 21, 2014. Born on February 26, 1927 in Hyannis, he was the son of the late Jules and Marie V. (Pfeilsticker) DuBois. Charles was an accomplished craftsman who enjoyed making furniture, upholstering, and reading history. Before retirement, he worked at Twin City Upholstery in Quincy. Charles was the husband of Joan F. (Goodrow) DuBois. He is survived by his son Marc R. Dubois and his wife Julie of St. Paul, MN. Charles was the grandfather to Luke, Monica, and Benjamin. He was the brother to the late George DuBois, Rosalee Sullivan, and Jules DuBois. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Rte. 53, HANOVER, on Monday from 2-4PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM St Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover Street, Rte. 139, Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' memory to the Disabled Veterans Association, 788 Liberty St, Braintree, MA.
