

Christine Mary (Ryan) Sherman of Hanover, MA passed away suddenly at home on Friday June 4, 2021. Christine was born in Boston, daughter of Diane (Kenney) Ryan and the late John T. Ryan Jr. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Assumption College and has a Masters degree in Special Education from Eastern Nazarene College. Christine was so dedicated to her students, the first teacher at school in the morning and the last one to leave. Christine’s children were lucky to have her stay home to care for them full time, and she put her heart and soul into taking care of the household and her girls. Christine enjoyed spending time with her family as well as their dogs and getting together with friends. She was passionate about saving animals and supporting animal rescue efforts.
Christine is survived by her beloved husband Jarrod Sherman and their two amazing daughters Mackenzie and Mattison; two sisters: Kathleen Fabian and her husband Paul of Franklin, Colleen Ryan and her fiancé Jamie Farrell of Holyoke; one brother: John T. Ryan III of East Bridgewater; she was called Auntie to her 4 nieces and 1 nephew: Katie and Kelly Fabian, Brooke Ryan, and Evelyn and John Farrell.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday June 11 at 10:00am in St. Mary’s Church, 392 Hanover Street, Hanover. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will take place in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, on Thursday June 10 from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
