David Howe Gover passed away on March 10, 2026 at the age of 85. David resided for the past several years in Rockland, MA. Born in Washington D.C. on Christmas Eve 1940, David shortly thereafter relocated with his family to Fort Smith, Arkansas. David enlisted in the United States Air Force on February 4, 1964. David would serve as an intell target officer, ascending to the rank of Captain before being honorably discharged on July 28, 1972. David would see combat during Vietnam, being stationed at Pleiku.
After being discharged from the Air Force, David obtained a doctorate in Psychology, and operated his own practice until retirement. David is survived by his son Paul Gover of Janesville, Wisconsin. While residing in Rockland, David acquired many friends that became like family to him.
A graveside service will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, on April 22, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
