

Donald H. Johnston, 64, of Hanover, MA has passed away unexpectedly. He was the son of the late Patricia Johnston and Donald Johnston of Hanover. He was a Navy veteran, and worked for years as a machinist. He fell in love with Pauline, and together had two daughters, Anna and Alyson.
Don was a funny man who enjoyed laughing and had a zest for life. He loved fishing with his brothers, trips to New Hampshire, grilling out, and animals of all types. He was known for being kind to others and having a big heart. In his free time, he often worked on creating models and enjoyed a challenging puzzle.
Don was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, father Donald, mother Patricia, and sister Tricia. He is survived by his daughter Anna Kelly and husband Bryan of Stoughton, and daughter Alyson Johnston of Stoughton. He is also survived by siblings Michael Johnston and wife Shelley of Rockland, Brian Johnston and wife Jill of Pembroke, and brother Dennis Johnston of Pembroke, along with grandchildren Lina, Skylar, Ronan, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Route 53, Hanover, on Saturday, May 14th from 1-3 PM.
