Florence E. Hennessey

Florence E. (Naujunas) Hennessey passed away July 20, 2021 at the age of 89. She was the loving wife of the late Maurice L. Hennessey and the late Ernest B. Naudziunas. Born in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Brikas) Karcauskas, sister of the late Charles Karr, Rose Delaria and Lillian Lepore.

Florence is survived by her daughter Lucy and her husband Gordon Nisbet, her son Michael Naujunas and his wife Patricia, grandson Michael and his wife Alexandra, grandson Jacob and his wife Aleta with a great grandson and great granddaughter, her late son Charles and his surviving wife Susan, and grandsons Matthew and the late Timothy.

Florence graduated from Dorchester High School for Girls, attended Simmons College, was an assistant librarian at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square and received her teaching degree at Bridgewater State College. She retired after 32 years of teaching in the Hanson, Brockton, Holbrook and Bridgewater Schools.

A private funeral was held at Central Cemetery East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
