Mr. Harold M. King, 83 of Norwell died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home. The son of the late William and Robena McGinnes King, he was born in Newport RI on July 20, 1925. Mr. King served in the Navy during WWII and later in the Air Force during Korea and Vietnam and was discharged as A Staff Sergeant. He was later employed as a Pipe fitter at a Naval Shipyard. He was the brother of the late William and Ralph King and Elizabeth Gerberville, Robena Anthony and Virginia Alvanas. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Tuesday, October 14 at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours omitted. Arrangements by the Sullivan Funeral Home in HANOVER.
