

James L. Jackson, Jr., 82 of Hanover and formerly of Wollaston, passed away on January 26, 2018. Born on September 22, 1935 in Boston, he was the son of the late James Sr., and Jule (O'Brien) Jackson. Jim started his career as a buyer then Divisional Merchandise Manager at Jordan Marsh Co. and Marshalls. He left in 1990 to move to New York to open his own handbag company under the label of Tianni. He designed and manufactured handbags from China and the Philippines which then, were imported to the USA. His label was carried in many major department and specialty stores.
Jim is survived by his wife, Betsy Jackson of Hanson and daughter Christine E. White and her husband Stephen of Norwell. Brother of Myra Jackson of Wollaston, William Jackson and his wife Rita of Lexington, the late Brenda Galofaro and her surviving husband Sebastian of NY. Loving grandfather to Trevor and Molly White. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jim will sadly be missed by all who knew him.
Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover, on Monday from 4-8 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover, on Tuesday at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
