Janet Rose Whitaker Spencer, 92, of Pembroke, formerly of Binghamton and Syracuse, NY, died peacefully on July 16, 2011. Beloved wife of the late W. Roy Spencer, loving mother of Robert Spencer of Wynantskill, NY and John Spencer of Pembroke. Loving mother-in-law to Roberta Spencer of Wynantskill, NY, Kathleen Spencer of Pembroke, and Sharon Spencer of Mooresville, NC. Devoted grandmother of Greg, Jason, Jeremy, and Dan Spencer and Sarah Spencer Welsh and Ben Spencer. Great-grandmother of Kyle, Rylie, Julia, Lauren, Addison, Cole and Henry Spencer and Graham and Jacob Spencer Welsh. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury, MA at 10 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2011, followed by interment at Pembroke Center Cemetery.
