

Kathleen M. Burns Pelletier, 64 of Hanover, passed away on April 8, 2013. Born on May 29, 1948 in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Richard T. and Frances A. Mellen Burns. Kathleen was a teacher in Braintree and Rockland for 30 years and an inspiration to so many. Kathleen will be remembered most for her warmth, generosity, spirituality, love of family and friends, and her kind and gracious spirit. In addition to spending time with friends and family, she was an avid reader, wrote poetry, enjoyed ecclesiastical music and everything about angels, Carmelite nuns and Saint Theresa of Lisieux. Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband, Henry L. Pelletier. She was the loving mother of Kristin A. Wood of Abington and Jon D. Pelletier and his wife Pamela of Arizona. She was the sister of the late Patricia Dickinson and dear grandmother of Matthew and Kathryn Wood and Sophia and Gabriel Pelletier. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., HANOVER on Thursday from 4-7PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10AM in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Rte 139 in Hanover. Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery.
