Marvin Stone

Ron grew up in Quincy, the son of the late Raymond and Barbara Bjorklund Stone. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1960 and served six years in the Army National Guard. Ron worked for 41 years at Boston Edison until his retirement in 2001.

Ron lived in Hanover for 55 years where he raised his family and avidly followed their sporting events. He had a passion for craftmanship and was a true “Do-it-Yourselfer.” His true joy in life was spending summers on Great Herring Pond with his family and friends. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Patricia Antonson Stone, his son Christopher Stone and his wife Kristen of Plymouth, his son Gregory Stone and his wife Amy of Hanover, his son Timothy Stone and his wife Amy of Hanson, 9 grandchildren (Brendan, Emma, Ryan, Zach, Abby, Ella, Megan, Anna and Keryn), his siblings Pam Anderson (husband Dave) of Plymouth, the late Randy Ralston (husband John) of Rockland, and Peter Stone (wife Jeanne) of Plymouth.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St. Rte. 53, Hanover. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 9:00AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish - St. Mary’s, 392 Hanover St. Rte. 139, Hanover.
