Michael J. Sullivan, 77 of Eastham and formerly of Rockland, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Born in Weymouth on May 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Albert E. Sr. and Mary C. (O'Brien) Sullivan. Michael was a graduate of Rockland High School, St Michael's College, and Boston State College. He proudly served in the Army National Guard for over 30 years. Michael was a Rockland school teacher for over 30 years and a member of the Lions Club.
Michael is survived by his daughter Kristen Sullivan of Hyannis. He is survived by his brothers Albert E. Sullivan, Jr. and Paul Sullivan. Michael is also survived by several nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 45 East Water Street, Rockland, on Monday from 2-5 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 403 Union Street, Rockland, on Tuesday at 9 AM. Burial to follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
