Patricia (Cribben) Nolan, 80 of Middleboro and formerly of Hanson for 41 years, passed away on September 16, 2021. Born on July 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Alice (Bourbeau) Cribben. Raised and educated in Brockton, she graduated from Brockton High School and from Quincy Hospital's Radiology Technologist Program. She began her career at the Lahey Clinic, and later worked for Cardinal Cushing/Caritas/Good Samaritan for over 40 years.
Patricia loved Irish Step Dancing and attending Ireland's Own in Brockton. She was an avid golfer and loved her Oak Point League at the Back Nine Golf Course, in addition to her women's league in Rockland and at Ridder Country Club. She also enjoyed traveling, Cape Cod and being at the beach. For many years, she enjoyed skiing and racquetball and teaching these sports to her children. Patricia was very active and could always be found in the Aerobics and Zumba classes. Anyone who knew Pat, knew she was a real card shark. She loved playing all kinds of card games and she shared this love with her friends, children, and grandchildren.
For many years, she participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Patricia will be remembered by family and friends as charismatic, loving, kind, "the life of the party," and she definitely liked being "the boss." She loved her family and adored her dear friends, but her greatest passion was her grandchildren. Patricia loved watching them in their sports and activities, attending every event and ceremony possible. Her travels took her as far away as Germany, Texas and Hawaii to New York and Connecticut and many local closer venues. She had so much pride in her children and grandchildren and she loved being a huge part of their lives.
Patricia was the beloved wife of Francis L. Nolan. Devoted mother of Kelly Garden of Litchfield, CT, Larry Nolan of Wareham, Kathy Meagher of Hanson and Jessica Snow of Halifax. Cherished grandmother of Allison, Ryan and Tara Garden, Lawrence Jr and Megan Nolan, Brian and Jenna Meagher, Christopher, Daniel, Nolan and Caitlin Snow, and the late Jeffrey Snow. Dear sister of Michael Cribben of Astor, FL, Kerry Cribben of Brockton, and the late Johnny Cribben of Brockton, Mary (Cribben) Monte of Canton, GA, and Margaret (Cribben) Harback of Buzzards Bay.
Pat's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team from Beacon Hospice Care who provided fine and loving care in her final months.
