Rita A. Brassil Carroll

Mrs. Rita A. Brassil Carroll, 57 of Plymouth formerly of Hanson died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at home after a long illness. The daughter of the Thomas and Margaret Toomey Brassil, she was born in Boston on March 4, 1948. She was educated in Charlestown and attended Tarrant County Community College and graduated from Bridgewater State College. She enjoyed Reading, Traveling and Golf. She had been employed as a manager for Avalonbay Communities. She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Carroll, 1 son, Robert S. Carroll and his wife Pamela A. of Halifax, 1 daughter, Stephanie M. Carroll Williams of Plymouth, 9 brothers, Thomas Brassil of West Palm Beach, Jack Brassil of Charlestown, James Brassil of Revere, Paul and William Brassil both of Charlestown, Robert Brassil Medford, Richard Brassil of Seabrook NH, Joseph Brassil of Bridgewater and Frederick Brassil of Wilmington, 4 sisters, Margaret Cameron of Hanson, Dorothy Gavin of Hanson, Mary Luzzo of Lexington and Maureen Brassil of Charlestown and 2 grandchildren, Alyssa and Brandon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Monponsett St, Rte 58 in Halifax. Interment in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan Street, at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Wednesday from 4-8 PM.
