Rita Patricia O'Toole

Mrs. Rita Patricia O'Toole, 83 of Pembroke formerly of Dorchester died Monday, January 19, 2009 at home in Pembroke. The daughter of late Alfred and Mary Mellett Foley, she was born in Boston on January 5, 1926. She was raised and educated in Dorchester. Mrs. O'Toole always put family first and enjoyed reading, bowling and traveling to Ireland. Wife of the late Martin R. O'Toole, she is survived by 3 daughters, Karen Hatch and her husband, Rusty of Kingston, Marianne Walsh and her husband, James of Pembroke and Joanne O'Toole of Pembroke, 1 brother, William Foley of Pembroke, 1 sister, Catherine Byrne of Falmouth, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Thecla Church, 145 Washington St., Rte 53 in Pembroke. Interment in Pembroke Center Cemetery. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington St., Rte 53 in HANOVER on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
