Mr. Ronald E. Powers, 73 of Hanson died Sunday, June 22, 2008 after a brief illness. Son of the late Walter and Grace Hull Powers, he was born in West Roxbury on November 14, 1934. He was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Boston Latin High School. Mr. Powers served in the Army and was later employed as a printer at Halliday Lithograph for 31 years. Mr. Powers had also been the owner of Wey Brook Printing in Hanover and then Hanson Graphics for many years. He is survived by his wife Patricia M. Herlihy Powers, 1 son, Ronald W. Powers of Sharon, 3 daughters, Kimberly Powers of Mashpee, Cheryl Maly of Abington and Karen Dalton of Marshfield, 1 brother Walter Powers of CA and 10 grandchildren. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte 14 & 58 in HANSON on Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan St., Rte 14 in Hanson. Interment in Fern Hill Cemetery in Hanson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
