Ruth L Riddle

Ruth L. (Rioux) Riddle, 87 of Hanover, passed away on Thursday August 27, 2015. Born on October 26, 1927 in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Ethel (Bell) Rioux. Ruth was an active member at the First Congregational Church in Hanover for many years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, and she loved to travel. Ruth was the wife of the late James S. Riddle. She was the mother of Denise E. Schell and her husband Walter of Hanover, and the late James J. Riddle. She is also survived by her daughter in law Audrey Riddle. Ruth was the sister of Peter Rioux and his wife Teresa of Hanson, Charles Pendleton and his wife Marilyn of Hanson, Karen Eade of Texas, Thomas Pendleton and his wife Susan of Rockland, and the late Elaine F. Manning. She is survived by her grandchildren Kassandra, Jamie, Amanda, and Bryan Schell, Kara LaBonte, Dennis Riddle, and Kelly Hawk. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and was the great grandmother to the late Emily Paige LaBonte. She was the aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Visitation in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53, HANOVER, on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Congregational Church, 547 Hanover Street, Rte 139, Hanover on Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
