William Holt, Jr.

William Holt, Jr., 78 of Pembroke and formerly of Canton, died on February 21, 2021. Beloved husband of 54 years to Marsha A. (Donovan) Holt. Bill was born on May 25, 1942 to the late William Holt, Sr. and Rhoda (Brooks) Holt, in Washington, DC. Bill graduated from Canton High School, where he was an athlete. After graduation, Bill attended Northeastern University. Bill then enlisted in the Massachusetts National Guard, where he served six years and was honorably discharged. Devoted father of Sean Holt and his wife Stacey of Kingston and Timothy Holt and his wife Kathy of Raynham. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Matthew, Connor, Meaghan, Mackenzie, and Sean, Jr. Loving brother of Richard Holt and his wife Sarah of Newbury, NH. Bill was an incredible Gramps and Pa. Bill and Marsha could be seen at their grandchildren's sporting events and dance recitals. Bill was known for fixing and tinkering and always just a phone call away when we couldn't figure something out. If Bill couldn't fix it, it wasn't broken. He will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan Street, Corner Route 14 & 58, Hanson, on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a funeral home service starting at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Pembroke Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Pat Roche House, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
