David J. "Dave" Martinez II

David J. “Dave” Martinez II, 52, of Woodburn passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was born on April 30, 1970 in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Woodlan High School. He worked for more than 30 years at Therma-Tru Doors. Surviving family include his life partner, Kelli Beber; sister, Lynn (Patrick Dimmitt) Dimmitt Martinez; step-father, Ira Herschberger; nephews, Ryan and Nathan Dimmitt; three stepsons; and two grandsons. He was preceded in passing by his mother, Rita Herschberger; and father, David Jack Martinez. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 State Road 37, Harlan with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harlan Memorial Cemetery, Harlan.
